About the role
We are looking for an Interim Public Health Consultant, to provide high-level senior public health leadership in a range of population level activities, across the council and wider partnerships. Ā
As we transition to a new structure, an interim/locum post is required for six months, to cover the children and young people portfolio, and likely also lead some transition into a wider portfolio including sexual health and health protection.Ā

About you
You will need to have completed higher specialty training in public health or equivalent and are be the GMC/GDC Specialist Register or UK Public Health (Specialist) Register.
You will be a strong leader, able to effectively manage teams and systems within the organisation and across organisational boundaries. Ā
You are a strategic thinker, analytical, and able to influence and drive change. Ā
You’ll need to be ambitious and innovative, working collaboratively to make a difference to the population of Cambridgeshire. Ā You should have a demonstrable track record of delivery in complex environments.Ā
